Oh, Iris Apfel, has there ever been a more genuine human? While perusing the interwebs today I discovered that one of my favorite filmmakers, Albert Maysles, is currently making a documentary about the vintage trendsetter Iris Apfel. I couldn't be more excited.
If you've seen Bill Cunningham New York (if you haven't, shame on you) then you know Iris. She's the bejeweled, white haired friend of Mr. Cunningham who is interviewed wearing her trademark round black glasses while sporting a signature sequined top. She is a gem. I can't wait to see this film.
